4th of july popsicles!

i might be am totally ridiculous.

i debated whether or not to tell you this story,
but you know when something really funny happens
and you look around and no one saw it happen,
and somehow it's just not quite as funny?

yeah...

so let's just say that twice recently
i have tried to change my clothes in my car while driving.
yes, i know what you're thinking, and i agree.
this isn't a good idea.

in both instances i was on my way from work to meet friends
at a park or beach of sorts for a walk.
this entails a change from work clothes to workOUT clothes.
and for some reason i'm always in a rush.

well, the first time was the worst.
i was driving along a highway...
and changed my shirt...
(you know, the way girls do it in the locker room when you're 12.
the one shirt goes over the top of the one you're currently wearing,
and then you slip the other one off over your head?) yeah. that was easy.
fast forward to the shoes and socks, that was easy too.

it was the pants part that was really hard dangerous.
i get my jeans off and get one leg into my lululemons.
this is when i realize this was the worst decision ever.

not only do i have no idea how i'm going to complete the change,
but i only have half of my pants on.

yesterday's instance wasn't quite so bad.
i just realized halfway to greenlake that i had my shirt on backwards.
so i waited for a stoplight and did a quick
'pull in the arms, twist, and pull back down' maneuver.
it didn't go so bad, although some people might have been starring.

moral(s) of the story:
don't try to change in your car.
don't rush to meet your friends for walks, etc.
(i'm sure they would much rather you arrive alive than in your workout gear)
texting while driving is really pretty safe when you think about it.
