yesterday i had the privilege of having a whole day filled with wedding festivities!
my mom, future sister-in-law and i tried on bridesmaid dresses,
went to the seattle wedding show, bought wedding shoes
AND attended a 'how to make your own wedding invititation' class at paper source.
if you know me, you know i love paper source!! :)
and in past seasons of life, i would maybe have considered myself to be pretty crafty.
but life gets busy.... and there seems to be less and less time for hobbies like this.
ANYWAY, i had a great time! it made me want to throw twelve parties,
just so i could make the cute invitations!
we learned to make super easy invitations, table tents,
place cards, stickers, envelope liners and more!
i would seriously recommend this class to anyone and everyone!
i loved looking through the inspiration boards for ideas...
i think the easiest and most practical thing i learned was how to do envelope liners!
seriously SUCH a great way to spice up any envelope...
christmas cards, thank you cards, anything!
they sell templates for any envelope size - but obviously
it's super easy to just trace these on your own.
basic idea: buy plain envelope, but cute patterned paper to line the insides. genius!
LOVE THESE! does anyone have a toddler's birthday coming up?
i'll create your birthday party invitations!!! ;)
planning!
love these invitation box ideas....
kind of expensive to send to everybody, BUT a great idea for a wedding shower,
or maybe even asking your bridesmaids to be a part of your special day!
<3!
so excited for all the upcoming weddings!
(congrats marcy & luke!)
