i have the wonderful privilege of getting half-day fridays throughout the summer months.
it's usually one of my favorite parts of the weekends, whether we're leaving early
for a weekend getaway or taking the afternoon to adventure around seattle.
two weeks ago we spent the afternoon exploring in discovery park.
if you haven't been, it's truly worth the trip.
the park is huge and filled with wide open spaces, miles and miles of trails,
a beautiful canopy of trees, and a waterfront area (light house included!)
