am i the only one who gets sucked into infomercials?
i am kind of mesmerized by something that seems too good to be true.
i will stare in awe at the TV wondering how that little cloth can soak up a gallon of water,
or how that little pen can magically remove the scratches on your car.
i first saw these pancakes here.
concept: a whole pancake made with just 1 banana and 2 eggs.
well, obviously i had to try these out for myself.
consider me a recipe myth-buster :)
1 ripe banana
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla (i added this)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (i added this)
makes about 6 pancakes
1. mash banana and mix together with remaining ingredients.
2. warm pan and add a bit of butter.
3. cook evenly on each side until lightly browned.
review: after my first couple of bites, i was actually pretty impressed with this recipe.
i mean, it's super healthy, no fuss, and all natural.
but by the middle of my second pancake, i decided i was over them. LOL!
unless you are on some crazy weight loss plan,
or have like a dozen food allergies,
there is no way this recipe will ever beat one with milk, flour, and sugar.
i know, i'm a glutton.
